TopCare Clients Ranking on Top

TopCare Clients Top U.S. News and World Report’s 2015 List of Best Hospitals

U.S. News and World Report released their 26th annual rankings for Best Hospitals 2015-2016 this week. Two clients of SRG Technology’s TopCare powered by Blender™ population health management technology platform made the prestigious Honor Roll; Massachusetts General Hospital took the #1 spot and Brigham and Women’s Hospital ranked 6th in the country.

SRG Technology is proud to be a partner of both esteemed hospitals and is pleased to see them recognized for the exceptional care they provide to patients from all over the world.

To rank the top hospitals, U.S. News evaluated approximately 5,000 hospitals for the 2015-2016 Best Hospitals list. After evaluating and ranking each hospital with the vital points system, only fifteen hospitals made the Honor Roll list.

Hospitals were scored for adult and pediatric care specialties in sixteen categories to identify the best in the nation. Categories include: Cancer, Cardiology & Heart Surgery, Diabetes & Endocrinology, Ear, Nose & Throat, Gastroenterology & GI, Geriatrics, Gynecology, Nephrology, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Rehabilitation, Rheumatology, and Urology.

Hospitals with the highest scores in at least six specialties earned a spot on the Honor Roll. Both Mass General and Brigham and Women’s Hospital made the 2013-2014 list as well, and have improved on their previous ranking.

Mass General and Brigham and Women’s Hospital are the founding hospitals of Partners Healthcare, which deployed SRGT’s TopCare Powered by Blender™ as their enterprise Population Health Management solution in 2012. TopCare was initially developed within Massachusetts General’s Lab of Computer Sciences led by Dr. Henry Chueh, Dr. Adrian Zai and their expert team.

By providing an end-to-end, fully integrated population health management solution, TopCare helps clinical service providers to put the patient at the center of care by facilitating more proactive and personalized interventions. This ultimately supports continuous improvements in healthcare environments.
